As a recipient of federal funding, the University is required to comply with 第九条 of the Higher Education Amendments of 1972, 10 U.S.C. §1681及以下. Manchester University reserves the right to take whatever measures it deems necessary in response to an allegation of 性骚扰 in order to protect the rights 和 personal safety of Students, 员工, 和 other members of the University 社区. Such measures include, but are not limited to, modification of living arrangements, interim suspension from campus pending a hearing, 和 reporting the matter to local police. Not all forms of 性骚扰 will be deemed equally serious offenses, 和 the University reserves the right to impose different sanctions, ranging from verbal warning to expulsion, depending on the severity of the offense. The University will consider the concerns 和 rights of both the Complainant 和 the Respondent.
